Make a difference in a veteran’s life.

As a donor, you can help make a material change in the lives of Veterans and surviving spouses. We provide scholarships for the SMVF (Servicemembers, Veterans and their immediate family members) community who want to become Certified Peer Specialists. We also assist with getting necessary documentation to support mental health and/or medical opinions for non-presumptive disability claims. We contract for mental health evaluations and nexus letters with providers who understand the VA Disability Process. We partner with the Suicide Prevention and Brain Health Rotary to conduct Mental Health and Suicide Awareness/Prevention training and we co-sponsor Veteran commraderie events at Veterans Point.

VA Disability Documentation Support

Filing a VA Disability Claim can be  very frustrating process, especially for those with traumatic military experiences. Our Certified Peer Specialists support Veterans through the process.  Each $250 donation allows us to contract for  Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5 (CAPS-5)  Assessment interview that corresponds to the DSM-5 criteria for PTSD.
